What this directory is

Kuala Lumpur Badminton Court Guide is an independent listing and comparison resource covering 127 badminton court businesses across Kuala Lumpur. It’s built for players and organisers trying to work out which court to book: weekend social players comparing court surfaces and pricing, coaches lining up training slots, corporate groups sorting out a tournament venue. Instead of asking you to trawl through scattered listings and review pages, we pull together public business data and a synthesis of recent Google reviews into one comparable format per court.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a court, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page whenever it applies, and it never touches how a court is scored or ranked.

How listings are built and scored

Each profile is put together from publicly available business information (location, facilities, opening hours, pricing where published) combined with a synthesis of recent Google review sentiment. We do not republish review text; instead we summarise patterns across reviews and link out to the source on Google so you can read the originals yourself.

Rankings come from a published rubric applied to that data: factors like review sentiment, responsiveness, facility details, and consistency over time. Nothing about a score is manual or negotiable, and it is never for sale. The full breakdown of how each factor is weighted sits on our /methodology/ page, open for anyone to check.

A business that appears here can request corrections to its own factual details: address, hours, court count, amenities. What it cannot do is edit its own score, the sentiment we’ve drawn from reviews, or its position relative to other courts. That separation is what keeps the rankings usable.

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some courts pay to appear as “Sponsored” in a clearly labelled section, kept visually and structurally apart from the earned ranking below it. Sponsorship buys visibility, not a better score and not a higher rank. If a business stops sponsoring, its earned position stays exactly where the data puts it.

Who’s behind it

This site is published by Meridian Guides, which has run independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia since 2025. Its badminton court listings for Kuala Lumpur, like its other directories, are built on published customer reviews and public business data, with rankings that are earned rather than sold and sponsored slots that are always labelled. Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Janice, Editor, who maintains the rubric and reviews how listings are scored. Data across the directory is refreshed monthly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see when it was last checked rather than take freshness on faith.

Questions, corrections, or sponsorship enquiries can go to hello@meridianguides.my, or via meridianguides.my.

FAQ

Does paying for a Sponsored listing improve a court's ranking?
No. Sponsorship buys a clearly labelled placement shown separately from the earned ranking. It never changes a court's score or its position in the ranked list.
Can a listed business edit its own review sentiment or score?
It can correct factual details like address, hours, or facilities. It cannot edit the sentiment drawn from reviews, its score, or its ranking.
Where do the reviews come from?
We synthesise patterns from recent Google reviews and link out to Google so you can read the original reviews yourself. We do not republish review text directly.
How often is the information updated?
Data across the directory is refreshed monthly, and each listing shows a last verified stamp so you can see when it was last checked.
What happens when I ask to be matched with a court?
We pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for the match. This is disclosed on the quote page and has no effect on any court's ranking.
